A small (3.81 ha) botanical garden, and since 1965 also a zoological garden, located in the Bydgoskie Przedmieście district.

At present, the garden covers an area of 3.81 ha with a rather varied morphology, and there is one pond. The garden has 55 species of trees, 24 species of shrubs and around 50 species of animals. Animals collected here include bears, bison, suricates, moufflons, llamas, lynx, yaks, monkeys, ostriches, porcupines, Chinese mongrels, Bennett’s kangaroos, long-tailed gorals, arui, alpacas, donkeys, goats, as well as a collection of reptiles and amphibians (herpetarium) and birds exhibited in the bird house and enclosures. The garden has a large collection of parrots.

The garden has eleven trees – monuments of animate nature, including: Maple-leaf plane tree (breast height – 422 cm, height – 25 m), black pine(breast height – 234 cm, height – 17 m), pedunculate oak, (breast height – 324 cm, height 27.5 m), ginkgo biloba (breast height – 171 cm, height 15 m), beech tree, (breast height – 279 cm, height 15 m) and Turkish hazel (breast height – 232 cm, height 9 m).

In addition to animal enclosures and a rich botanical collection, the garden also has: birdhouses, a herpetarium, a pond and ponds, a ‘Mini Zoo’ for children.
