Zatorland – Insect Park in Zator

Medals available in the vending machine!
Have you ever seen a human-sized ant?
Now it’s possible.
We can say very little about insects encountered in real life. Due to their microscopic size, many details of their anatomy escape our notice. The curious are invited to the first insect park in southern Poland, where you can see 16 giant figures.
These include a grasshopper, ladybug, ant, stag beetle, butterfly larva, praying mantis, scorpion, Colorado potato beetle, rhinoceros beetle, fly, and earwig.
Walking along the educational path is a great way to supplement biology lessons and have an interesting experience. Each exhibit is equipped with an information board where you can read fascinating facts about the displayed species.
The insect figure exhibition is also enriched with a display of preserved insect specimens from various corners of the globe, such as Thailand, Morocco, Russia, and many others. In the display cases, you can find spiders, butterflies, beetles, cicadas, and more.
