The White Eagle Museum in Skarżysko-Kamienna

The “White Eagle” Museum in Skarżysko has been collecting and displaying exhibits for 40 years. A particularly notable part of the museum’s collection is one of Poland’s largest outdoor exhibitions of heavy military equipment. The outdoor display features over 100 pieces of heavy weaponry: tanks, armored vehicles, cannons, howitzers, aircraft, and the largest exhibit – the 25-meter long torpedo boat ORP “Odważny”. Visitors can also enter an IŁ-14 transport and landing aircraft. The museum possesses the only surviving full-size Polish-built torpedo boat ORP “Odważny”, constructed in a Polish shipyard and used by the Polish Navy until January 1986.

A unique worldwide exhibit is the German Sturmgeschütz IV (StuG IV, SdKfz 167) self-propelled gun from World War II.

The museum is located in the recreational area of Skarżysko-Kamienna, by the Rejów reservoir, just 500 meters from the national road E-7.
