The Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Cracow-Lagiewniki

Medals can be purchased in the basement of the sanctuary, at the information office, in the tower and next to the Pastoral House!

Karol Wojtyla, while going to work at Solvay during the occupation, passed by the monastery on Łagiewniki hill every day and often entered the monastic chapel. As a Pilgrim Pope, he would come here to pray before the miraculous image of the Merciful Jesus and at the relics of Sister Faustina.
