The John Paul II Garden in Inwałda

Medals for sale at the ticket office!

You only have to climb 96 steps to reach the very top of the viewing tower and see an extraordinary picture painted with thousands of bushes, trees and flowers.

See the blooming portrait of John Paul II surrounded by St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican and the Basilica of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Wadowice.

Almost 20,000 appropriately selected plants: trees, shrubs, flowers and tonnes of stones, gravel and aggregate were needed to create the painting.

A walk through the alleys of the Garden, which is as long as 8 km, will allow you to admire the individual elements of the entire image, but also to see photographs depicting the path to sainthood of the Polish Pope, or to learn about the extraordinary stories of his life.
