Medals available in the Cloth Hall at stall number 19!
The Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) is one of the most iconic landmarks of Kraków, located in the very heart of the Main Market Square. In the 15th century, during its golden age, it was a hub of international trade. Goods such as spices, silk, leather, and wax were imported from the East, while textiles, lead, and salt from the nearby Wieliczka Salt Mine were exported.
Today, Sukiennice remains a vibrant shopping center. It features two rows of stalls selling jewelry, souvenirs, handicrafts, and folk art. Upstairs, the Gallery of 19th-Century Polish Painting and Sculpture – part of the National Museum – is housed. On the ground floor, you can visit the famous Noworolski Café, and outside the hall, historic gas lighting can still be seen in working condition.
