The Bacówka is located below Mount Bereśnik (843 m above sea level) in the Beskid Sądecki mountain range, part of the Radziejowa massif. Situated on an open southern slope, it offers magnificent views of Szczawnica town in the Grajcarek valley below, as well as panoramas of the Pieniny Mountains and, further away, the Spišská Magura range and the High Tatras. This is a unique spot where you can admire both sunrise and sunset. The Bacówka serves as an excellent base for hiking trips in the Beskids and Pieniny Mountains, being conveniently located just a short distance from Szczawnica (about a 40-minute walk). It’s perfect for weekend getaways – you can arrive on Friday evening and spend all Saturday already in the mountains.
