The PTTK Czesław Trybowski Mountain Hut on Stare Wierchy is located in the western part of the Gorce Mountains at an altitude of 968 m above sea level, on a beautiful forest clearing. From here, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Tatra Mountains in almost their entire span. You can also admire the panorama of the Beskid Wyspowy, some peaks of the Gorce Mountains, and even Babia Góra.

The area around Stare Wierchy is mainly covered with spruce forests and clearings, full of blueberries in summer. Numerous trails pass near the hut, providing excellent conditions for hiking, horseback riding, and cycling enthusiasts. In winter, the slope of the clearing offers great opportunities for downhill skiing, and a ski lift operates near the hut. There are also many trails for cross-country skiing lovers in the area.
