Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw

Medals available in the Gothic Hall on the 30th floor and on the 2nd floor in the lobby!

The Palace of Culture and Science, known as the living museum of socialist realism art, was built between 1952 and 1955. The skyscraper was erected as a “Gift of the Soviet peoples to the Polish people.” , whose originator was Joseph Stalin himself.

Despite the ever-increasing competition for 60 years, the Palace with its spire reaching 237 meters (44 floors) is the tallest building in Poland and one of the most important symbols of the capital.

It houses more than 3,000 rooms, which, among other things, are the headquarters of companies and institutions as well as the Polish Academy of Sciences or Collegium Civitas. In addition, the Palace houses a post office, cinema, museums, libraries, theaters and restaurants.

A major attraction for tourists and residents is the “thirty” observation deck, located on the 30th floor of the Palace (at a height of 114 meters), from which one can admire the magnificent panorama of Warsaw.
