Mirsky castle
Mir Castle
Mir Castle is an architectural monument dating from the 16th to the 20th century. It combines features of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles. It is located in the town of Mir in the Grodno Region of Belarus.
The private castle was built by the order of Yuri Ilyinich before the year 1527. At various times, it belonged to the noble families of the Radziwiłłs, the Wittgensteins, the Hohenlohes, and the Svyatopolk-Mirskys. In the year 2000, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
