The Open-Air Museum is the most important exhibition of the Museum. Picturesquely located by the Bukowiec stream, among forests, ponds and cultivated fields, it covers an area of nearly 29 hectares. In this setting, you can see a Lasowiacka and Rzeszów village as they were in the first years of the last century. Faithfully recreated rural homesteads, carefully arranged interiors, about 70 smaller and larger wooden architecture objects in total, including: a windmill complex, water mill, oil mill, school building and village inn, fire station with an exhibition of old firefighting equipment, etc. A walk through the open-air museum is a real journey back in time. You can see a world that no longer exists, discover the soul of old objects, and also relax in the peace of the homesteads, where only occasionally you can hear a rooster crowing, hens clucking, pigeons cooing or sheep bleating…
