The Dinosaur Park, opened in 2008 in Solec Kujawski. It is partly modelled on the park in Bałtów, but occupies a much larger area (over 12 ha) and is one of the largest parks of its kind in Europe.
More than 100 life-size reconstructions of Mesozoic reptiles, most of which are dinosaurs, have been placed in the old forest. The tour leads chronologically through millions of years of Earth’s history – from the Cambrian to the present day.
JuraPark Solec is also home to the Karol Sabath Museum of the Earth – Poland’s largest palaeontological museum. Its exhibition comprises more than 1,000 fossils of plants and animals from various parts of the world. Next to them, reconstructions of animals living in past eras are presented.
