The Solina-Myczkowce Hydroelectric Power Plant Complex is located on the San River and is exceptionally picturesque, nestled among the Bieszczady hills.

Solina is one of the largest pumped-storage power plants on a natural tributary of a concrete dam. Before modernization, its installed capacity was 136 MW, and after modernization it reached 200 MW. It consists of 4 hydroelectric units. The plant is located at the foot of Poland’s tallest gravity dam. The usable head is 60 m. The upper reservoir of the power plant forms the largest artificial lake in Poland.
