Medals available in the aviary, giraffe house, and lion pavilion!

This is a special place where animals from all continents live on an area of about 120 hectares. Among them are species whose populations in the wild have practically disappeared. Here you can still encounter bongo antelopes, Arabian oryx, pygmy hippopotamuses, and magnificent scavenging Andean condors. Since January 2007, it has been a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA). This association brings together about 250 of the world’s more than two thousand zoos.
