Church of St Peter and St Paul in Cracow

The Church of Saints Peter and Paul was built in the 17th century as the first Baroque-style building in Kraków. Its massive structure, topped with a slender dome, is one of the most prominent features of the city’s skyline. In front of the church are the distinctive statues of the Apostles, and in the presbytery lies the tomb of Father Piotr Skarga Pawęski – a Jesuit and royal court preacher.
