A 14th-century building, a meeting place for knightly brotherhoods and the elite of Gdańsk and Europe. Inside, the following are particularly worthy of admiration: the 10.64 m (the tallest in Europe) tiled stove, a symbol of religious tolerance; the late Gothic sculpture “St. George Fighting the Dragon” from 1485; and the oldest preserved pewter beer bar from 1592. Artus Court hosts the highest-ranking state and business representatives, crowned heads, and distinguished figures from the worlds of science and culture.
