Aquapark Łódź – Fala is the largest aquapark in Poland, opened on 31 January 2008. The area of the facility is about 10 ha, of which about 2,500 m² is the water surface.

The swimming pool complex is located in glass pyramids. It features, among others, Poland’s only ‘kamikaze’ slide (60 m long with a 20 m difference in level), a 19-metre tower with two slides of approx. 130 m and 60 m in length, a sauna village (with five different saunas), water spouts, jacuzzi, rivers – wild and peaceful, a forest beach, a complex of sports fields for volleyball and basketball, bars and restaurants. One of the pools has been equipped with artificial wave generating equipment.

The swimming pool was built by Aqua Park Łódź Sp. z o.o., which the city set up with the Slovenian company Makro 5 Investicije. The investment worth PLN 18.5 million was financed by the Slovenians, the Lodz municipality’s share was the land worth PLN 4 million on which the bathing centre was built.

On 1 June 2007 the aquapark authorities announced that the new facility would be called Aquapark Łódź – Fala.

On 23 September 2010, a statue of Pik-Pok the penguin was officially unveiled in front of the entrance to the bathing area.
