About the River Museum:

Founded on November 9, 2009, the River Museum houses the most treasured artifacts in the history of Club Atlético River Plate.

In its over 110 years of existence, the institution has experienced glorious moments both in sports and administration. Whether in football or club affairs, the Museum reflects these great moments in various ways.

Without a doubt, River Plate is the greatest club in Argentina, with worldwide recognition. Those idols, objects, and places are now preserved in the heart of the Estadio Monumental.

The River Museum is open EVERY DAY from 10 AM to 7 PM. On match days at the Monumental, the schedule may be affected, and the Stadium Tour will not take place.
Important: Tickets are sold until 6 PM.

Stadium Tour:
Tours start at 11 AM and run hourly until 5 PM, ALWAYS subject to availability, as they are suspended during professional team training or institutional events.

The River Museum spans over 3,500 square meters. Its different sections reflect thematic areas that divide the tour, referencing key dates in River’s history. With unprecedented technological displays in the country, the Museum features a 360° cinema showcasing a film that captures the passion of River Plate fans.

Through the “Tunnel of Time,” visitors will chronologically explore River Plate’s key figures, the teams that made the Club great, the biggest victories, and the most valuable trophies—all connected to national and international history.

As River Plate is the club that has contributed the most players to the Argentine National Team, the Museum honors each one, reigniting the pride of being a River Plate fan every day. The Museum also features a display of the team’s jersey history from the early 20th century to today, showcasing all the designs the first team has worn, even those used only once.

Additionally, visitors will relive the Club’s origins, its first steps in professionalism, legendary matches, and the glory that has always accompanied River Plate. These sections include audiovisual spectacles that evoke the national and international context of each River era.

The River Museum aims to be a repository of the Club’s history and heritage, open to the general public, whether they are River Plate fans or simply appreciate football as an expression of popular culture.
