PTTK mountain hut on Krawcowy Wierch

Medals available for purchase at the mountain shelter!
The shelter on Krawcowy Wierch was built between 1975 and 1976 on the initiative of PTTK (Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society) activists led by Edward Moskała – the originator of a network of mountain shelters in the Polish Carpathians, designed to serve qualified tourism.
Originally, the shelter was planned to be located on the summit clearing of Muńcoł, but due to hydrological issues, it was ultimately built on the Krawcula clearing below the peak of Krawcowy Wierch.
Given the uniqueness of this place, it’s worth finding it and spending time surrounded by nature, which serves as a refuge for many species of plants and animals, in one of the most beautiful corners of the Beskid Żywiecki mountains.
The wonderful atmosphere of this place is created by its surroundings and the ambiance that prevails when tourists stay there. Due to its location, it’s one of the less frequently visited shelters, making it a meeting place for people who truly love the mountains. However, the exceptionally beautiful trails leading to the shelter are a magnet that attracts visitors to this place, which always offers good food and comfortable beds.
